Wineries along Cayuga’s East Shore and the Routes 5 & 20 corridor are pleased to announce the Fourth Annual “Off the Beaten Path – A Romantic Adventure”. The event is a Valentine’s Day-themed wine tour taking place Saturday and Sunday, February 11th and 12th. Wineries participating in this year’s event include: Six Mile Creek Vineyard, King Ferry Winery, Long Point Winery, Bet the Farm Winery, Dill’s Run, The Apple Station, Izzo’s White Barn Winery, and CJS Vineyards. The wineries are located in Ithaca, north along Cayuga’s east shore, then to Routes 5 & 20, west of Auburn.
Each of the wineries will offer their guests a “Token of Love”. These are small gifts – some may be edible, some may be keepsakes. The wineries sponsor a raffle in which each $10 purchase at any of the participating wineries will earn one raffle ticket. The grand prize for the raffle drawing is a $100 gift certificate to the Inns of Aurora. Guests are invited to visit any or all of the wineries (regular tasting fees may apply), earn the raffle ticket with their purchase and enjoy the many styles of wine being made at these unique wineries.
